The Day's Growth by Grace

A great time with friends
in a setting with open fields
where people can let down their shields,
we enjoy ourselves to no ends
with nothing on our minds
including the weight of the daily grinds.
We can throw toys in the air
or we can sit around in a round shape
and enjoy a day together where we just escape.
We can sit around without a care
or we can stand to play a game
where no one can be passed a blame.
On a day God perfectly created
it seems the only thing to do
is to play and have a good time without a clue.
Creation like this will never be outdated
as long as we have the good sense
to use our good senses at no expense.
A day like today cannot come
every time we step ourselves outside
of our comfort circle in which we easily glide.
Today we will be thankful where we are from
as we rejoice in where we are going
in a growth by grace that we are showing.
