No one wants to do
this work that needs to be done
because the work left for you
is absolutely no fun.
The strenuous nature of
the duties that call you
are fulfilled out of pure love
because that's all you do.
You dedicate yourself
to others on a basis daily
as you put your aspirations on a shelf
and pour love out unfailing.
You do the work of many
but with the energy of one
as your accomplishments are plenty
yet your goals are never done.
You will never rest
until everyone else is happy,
an attribute that is your best,
a woman resourceful and scrappy.
You always fret the time
that seems upon you to creep
yet you are still prime
to complete and still sleep.
