Rest at Ease

I've accomplished it all
and now it's over.
My dreams are realized,
the ultimate closure.
The things I wanted
such as happiness, love, and peace
are now all mine
as I can rest at ease.
I never got all
of the money in the world
but I didn't need it
to be completely fulfilled.
All I needed
was all that I got
as the bad that came
was all for not.
Now I am filled
with the calm so longed for
as I give this body back
and leave with only a soul to endure.
