Yahweh's Return

The heavens open up
to display a glory
about which we all read
but couldn't wait to see.
The clouds so white
and the sky so pure,
what was once based on faith
is now proven to be for sure.
The boom in the coming
of the heavily anticipated Yahweh,
tears of joy can flow
in this, the happiest of all days.
His arms open up
as if to welcome His children home
from a crusade from which
they can finally rest and heal wounds.
The promises made
by a Jesus so many doubted,
the fulfillment in prophecies
are too numerous to be counted.
He returns with a flash,
pausing time for all non-confessing,
as believers follow Him
up into the heavens with their blessing.
Years of faith for some
while just mere minutes for others,
together they will travel as one
on their last trek as they become brothers.
The world just moments
away from its inevitable end
we ascend with our Lord
as all of our brokenness, He does mend.
We look at each other
with utter excitements
as the sheer joy
overwhelms all senses.
We arrive at home
for the very last time
as all hopes and dreams
come true in God's heaven, so sublime.
