The Spider Web of Finger-Pointing

Let the fingers fly,
let the spewing begin.
Throw the accusation, and
let blaming come again.
Who did this?
Who is at fault?
Will someone please
admit when called?

Between the words
and hatred rampant
there is not one
solitary facet
about this present
situation
that is an inaccurate
representation
of the lives being
led by those
that, as far as peace goes,
are vehemently opposed.

The offense committed,
the wrong that's done,
is of the slightest nature,
the most minor one,
yet the reaction
created by such
is far too appalling
to the touch.
The true issue
that is at hand,
the one that needs
the solution it demands
is the one that is caught
in the spider web of finger-pointing,
the one that is
devastatingly disjointing,
yet only the inflicted
of such a disease
knows the symptoms they
must immediately have treated
or else the sickness
will quickly consume
all that will never
have the chance to bloom.
