Finish the Slob

Take all the dirty towels;
discard them, not then, but now.
Take it all off the floor
where there better not be any more.
Wipe off the desk
to correct your dirty mess.
Organize the closet,
something that should be done more often.
Wipe off the lampshade
and watch the dirt fade,
a treasure underneath
the fools' gold beneath.
Finish the job
as well as the slob
and sit back to enjoy
the rewards of the ploy.
